Here’s a fun, quick question for you today. If you could pick anyone for your child to do lunch with, who would you pick and why?
Here’s a fun, quick question for you today. If you could pick anyone for your child to do lunch with, who would you pick and why?
Let’s make a list. Lists are fun….right up there with math. :)
This is a guest post from Ellen at Thrifty and Chic Mom. Today on First at 4, she shares her favorite money saving ideas when buying kids clothes. Enjoy!
Everyone, please welcome the lovely and talented….Marcy from Stretching a Buck. Her money saving skills at the grocery store are being featured on First at 4 today (Seriously—she’s good!) and she’s doing a guest post to go along with it. Enjoy!
Now that the election is over, and I feel a need to satisfy my “poll withdrawl,“ I thought I would take a quick poll from all of you…..When was the last time you had time to be sick?
As you know coffee is another food group for me. With the election ahead this week, I know I’ll be guzzling it.
I love the phrase “sanity saver,“ and parents you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about here. It’s the thing (or things) that maintain our sanity despite the chaos that surrounds us day in, day out.
I got a good chuckle out of this. Parenting magazine did a poll on how much we as parents would pay for an uninterrupted night of sleep. I believe “uninterrupted” is the key word here. :)
It’s funny. I’m getting so many questions about my “basil” conversation wtih Jym Ganahl on First at 4. Let me explain….
Emily Martin is one cool mom. You’ll love her, and like me she’s a relatively new mom trying to navigate the baby world.
Jessica and I have daughters close in age, so I enjoy checking out her blog to see what Natalya is up to. Plus—I get to check out all of Jessica’s latest bargains. Here are her tips for keeping a birthday bash within budget.
Drum roll please….
Ladies and gentleman, please welcome a queen of bargain hunting, couponing, and all around thriftiness (in a fabulous way, of course), Tara with Deal Seeking Mom. She is our guest writer today and shares her best ways to nab great coupons.
All this week, my favorite “Bargain Hunting Moms” are dishing their favorite money saving secrets in guest posts….and I mean these ladies are GOOD! To kick off the week, Ellen Peppercorn of Thrifty and Chic Mom shares how to nab deals on haircuts. Enjoy!
