Quite a production, indeed. The reviews are still out, but it’s clear mom is not impressed. We are skipping the curtain call and going straight to a “time out.“ All future shows will be cancelled.
Remember the first day of school? Walking into a new classroom, with a new teacher, and new kids. Not fun. Pretty scary, actually. My neighbor had a GREAT idea for her kids…so we’ll share.
In my very first entry I mentioned “Team Mom.“ I’m not the captain, barely a bench warmer…more of a cheerleader. I’m just glad I made the team.
It hit me last night. My baby is turning into a “big girl.“ Now how did that happen?

Last night I peaked into Caroline’s bedroom. I love to watch my baby girl sleep. It’s in her peacefulness that I find my own peace.

Raindrops on roses are lovely and all, but I much prefer my baby girl’s soft hair on my cheek and the smell of coffee in the morning. What are your favorite things?
Do you keep a baby journal? I do, and I love it! Writing everything down helps me realize how quickly time slips by, and how I need to cherish each moment with my daughter.
I get it. I know. Life is crazy when you are a parent trying to juggle everything at once...family, work, relationships.
