Meet Scott and Heidi. They are a lovely couple from Lewis Center expecting their first baby in a few months. I thought who better to give them advice on what to expect than all of YOU! So let’s dish about the best parenting tips and feel free to have fun with it.
We just received a fax from the Franklin County Coroner with a new warning for parents. It’s one of my worst fears—SIDS. There’s new information to pass along to you and I’d like to hear from you about this, too.

This is a big day for us at NBC 4. We are launching a brand new show at 4pm called First at 4. We’ll be live from NBC 4 on the Square, and this show is packed with great information for your family.
You always hear how quickly kids grow up, and now I am seeing it in my own daughter. But last night a very special moment unfolded when I least expected it, and I am thankful I took the time to enjoy it.
We cherish the first smile, first giggle, and first steps. Now, the first temper tantrum is one I won’t soon forget. And from what I hear from other mothers, the tantrums should gradually decline in frequency and intensity within the next 20 years.
Finding child care is a struggle for so many families. It can be expensive, hard to find, and a waiting game until you find the right place for your baby. There is a resource in our community that I think every parent should know about before starting a search for child care.
This is a whole new chapter for me. Never before have I tried to juggle being a mother with a full-time career. I know many of you are pros, and I could certainly use your advice on how to balance it all.
