There’s a story today out of New Mexico on a school district instituting a “cheese sandwich policy.“ I’ve copied the AP story below and it just breaks my heart.
We all know big girls love to head to the spa, but what about little girls. Today on First at 4—a story that just might get you fired up—kids as young as 9 going to the spa for pampering, and the parents who pick up the tab.

Caroline is two years old, sassy, and the love of my life. I’m certain I’m learning far more from her, than she is from me.
Bottom line—it’s our tax money and our children. So do you think our tax dollars are being spent wisely on education? And what do you really care about when you send your child to school?
