Behind the Scenes—Meet Denise
It’s time to meet Denise, and you’ll instantly love her. Denise is the Managing Editor of the NBC 4 website. Anything related to the First at 4 page goes through her, and believe me, that’s a good thing. There’s a reason they don’t trust me to do that! She knows our website inside and out and could probably navigate it with her eyes closed. I got to know Denise when we first started chatting about my blog. She could read my mind and came up with a great layout and design instantly. Denise is very talented like that. I often run to her and say, “I don’t know what I did. My blog was there a minute ago, and now it’s gone. Help.“ Denise gets on her computer and in about 20 seconds flat everything is fixed. She’s like a mom who kisses your boo boo and makes it all better.
Check out the picture of Denise. It’s of her and her baby…and 15 pound orange tabby named Griffin. She often twitters about him. He’s a very popular cat, indeed. It’s a cute pic! And I have to share this with you, because it’s too cool. This is what Denise wrote about herself on her myspace page.
“I believe in true love, soul mates and Santa Claus. I cry at tv shows, sad commercials and movies—even those I’ve seen a million times. I love The Beatles and classic rock. I’m a news junkie and feel incomplete without my Blackberry. Just once, I want to spend Christmas in New York and see all of London before I die. I can’t stop watching cheesy Christmas movies, Lifetime movies and infomercials. I have to have my right leg uncovered before I can fall asleep. I firmly believe that any great meal should be followed by ice cream. I’m allergic to moths, caterpillars and dust. I love the ballet but haven’t seen one in years. I doubt that anyone will ‘get’ me after seeing how I behave when I’m with my family. And more than anything in this world, I love my parents and my sisters.“
