Ice Cream Contest…Yummm!
It turns out July is national ice cream month. Who knew? My father-in-law will be ready to celebrate. He is a pro at making ice cream. Anyway, along with national ice cream month, Velvet ice cream is hosting a contest to design the next flavor and I bet your kids will get into this. Here’s the scoop! :)
To enter, kids need to write a 75 word essay about “their flavor.“ Be creative! Tell them about the toppings, pick a cool name, and send it in. You never know right? I bet there are some very creative kids and parents out there. This is for kids ages 6 to 13, and sounds like a great way to get the kids writing this summer. The winner’s picture will go on the carton and they’ll get free ice cream for a year. That’s cool! Any ideas on flavors out there?
