Pure Barre Workout
I got to meet a darling woman today who is kicking butt! Emily Johnson is a former dancer and OSU cheerleader (Go Bucks!) and now at the age of 25, Emily is a business owner. She just opened Pure Barre. It’s a new workout studio near Grandview, just off fifth avenue. I got to meet Emily while doing a story today on the Pure Barre Technique. It’s impressive and so is she. :)
As Emily put it, Pure Barre is a “55 minutes class that really fatigues every muscle group we want to change, so our arms, abs, thighs and seat. We work each muscle group to fatigue and then we stretch them back out to create a long, lean look.“ Long and lean? Sign me up. The moves are small, toning exercises that will leave your muscles shaking. I had to laugh when a few ladies in the class told me they were hurting for several days after taking their first class. They said they felt great! I LOVE trying new workouts. I’m a health and fitness “junkie,“ but I don’t always play by the healthiest of rules. Everything in moderation right?
It’s not for everybody, but worth giving it a try to see if you like it. I thought you might want more information, so here is a link to the Columbus location. If you swing by the studio, say “hi” to Emily for me. Enjoy!
