Dishin' On Daytime

Dishin’ on Daytime

There is no way to turn back and I’m certainly feeling very computer savvy. And I can see how this Facebook thing can be addicting. Trouble is, I don’t have time to get addicted! But it’s fun to connect with people I haven’t seen in awhile who pop up on Facebook. This will be a great tool to search for some of my high school classmates as we get ready for our reunion this summer.

My kids on the other hand, don’t take kindly to their mother being part of Facebook. I think they feel like I’m intruding on their privacy or that I’m participating on a computer fad that is for young people only and I’m too old to be part of the Internet social network. Too bad! Except for my son, my two daughters have refused to friend me. That’s okay. I’m not sure I’d want to see their profile page anyway. Some things a mother just doesn’t want to know. So go ahead and check out my Facebook page. You might find out something you didn’t know.

Gayle, I totally understand. My kids laugh at me on facebook.  Check out this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xR7NduwSTiY

Beth Harpaz is the AP Travel Editor and has a book coming out Jan 27: “13 is the new 18.“  She is witty and smart as can be, so it will surely be a great read.
