Dishin’ On Daytime

If you live in Ohio you should be ready for this type of weather. Yet I’m always fascinated by the many people who act as if the sky is falling.  Okay..it does start with weather folks who really like to talk winter storms.  Before you know it, we are all scurrying home, buying milk at the grocery store so we don’t go hungry, and we wait for the blizzard to hit. (And we all know blizzards only occur every 25 years.) I have to say that being a native of Toledo, I’m really used to the ice and snow.  As I have gotten older, it seems that more and more people are really afraid of any snow at all and the slightest snow shower can bring cancellations and stalled traffic.  Have we gotten soft?  Why can’t life to on in spite of the snow? 
Okay…the boss is sending everyone home early before the snow storm gets too bad.  HHHmm….all of a sudden a snow storm doesn’t seem so bad..
