Dishin’ On Daytime

With a group of 70 or so fellow OU students, Conor and Kelly put the finishing touches on their film, Trailerpark, over the weekend. Now it’s an editing project. The film will air on the OU campus June 7. This has been so much fun for my kids, and our family. I actually get a cameo, in addition to be playing the part of an extra in a tavern scene. My husband and I drove to Athens last week to feed the crew. Usually they eat whatever they can whenever they can because the shoot schedule is crazy. So we made up a batch of spaghetti sauce, some meatballs, and drove to the film site. We never saw such hungry and grateful kids! Other parents have done the same thing and the kids are so appreciative. At least as parents we know they are getting good food every once in awhile. A big congrats to everyone on the crew and their professor Frederick who guided them along the way. Can’t wait to see the final product!
