Dishin’ On Daytime
If you are like most folks, Memorial Day means a long weekend and a time with family and friends. But how many of us really honor the true meaning of the day? Today on Daytime I interviewed members of a group called Operation Flag, and their focus is to remember our men and women who have died in service to their country. They honor these soldiers by making sure military grave sites in Central Ohio are kept in good repair. In some cases, military markers are renovated or repaired, flags are put on grave sites and flowers are planted. A group of dedicated volunteers make the rounds of older cemeteries in Central Ohio looking for places where markers need a makeover. In some cases, descendants of these military men and woman help with the renovation. This is wonderful dedication on the part of volunteers who work with Operation Flag. The least WE can do, is take a moment this Memorial Day to remember and thank our men and women in service, past and present.

That is so interesting! Keep it up. Thanks for the good information update! But aside from that breaking information, let me share something new,.Prom is a huge expense, and a lot of people shell out some serious cash on it. Prom expenses such as getting prom dresses and tuxedos, or even a limo are big expenses, and some parents try to get on lay away plans for the upcoming expenses. The Junior and Senior year prom dances are a big deal in many American high schools, and the tradition is observed in many other countries, though usually under different names, in some countries it’s referred to as a ball, or debutante ball. It is routinely a big deal to some people, and no expense is spared to make sure that prom is as perfect as possible, even if it necessitates short term loans.

Wonderful idea! We actually did a segment on used prom dresses for young ladies who were having a hard time paying for prom. For these young people, it made prom very special.
