Dishin' On Daytime

Dishin’ on Daytime

Every time Conor would call home I would pump him for information on the celebrities and TV stars he saw or worked with.  It was like reading People magazine every week, only better because it was up close and personal!  He worked at a division of Warner Brothers, Heyday Films, the home of the Harry Potter film series.  He also worked on the ABC comedy, “Modern Family” as a production assistant to the writers.  While he did his share of grunt work….basically made lots of coffee and copied lots of scripts….. he also had experiences that you just can’t get in a book.

While I’m glad he had a great time, I know I have lost him to the west coast after graduation next June.  After his trip to Los Angeles, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Conor so happy or excited about his future.  He may be poor and living in LA, but he’ll be a happy poor person.  And one day I’m sure he will walk the red carpet.  I told him I’ll be his first date!

It must be a fun job working with Celebs, I never met one in my entire life.  Well other than a few pro hockey and baseball players.  But other than that, no one really big.  Maybe one day!
