Franklin County Posts Sample Ballots Online
COLUMBUS, Ohio—Absentee voting hasn’t started, and Election Day is more than a month away, but Franklin County voters can begin reviewing their ballot immediately.
Sample ballots for every precinct in the county are now posted on the board of elections’ Web site. Click here to look at your sample ballot.
Click on the sample ballot link and enter your name or home address to see a replica of you ballot, containing the candidates and issues for the general election.
“We will have 603 precincts open on Election Day with ballots that will list several thousand combinations of candidates and issues,” said Board of Elections Director Bill Anthony. “There will be less waiting time at the polls if voters review their sample ballot beforehand, get familiar with the choices available to them and show up ready to vote.”
Absentee voters have the option of casting ballots by mail or at the board of elections beginning Sept. 28.
Polling locations on Election Day, Nov. 2, will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
