2010 State of the City Address Highlights

Our guests enjoyed the opportunity to meet first-hand with community leaders, and for a recap from City Manager Barney on community achievements from 2009 and a look ahead to the New Year.

Community Fair
The evening featured a Community Fair, with refreshments and exhibits from City departments and local service organizations, providing an opportunity for residents to meet with community leaders and staff during one convenient forum.

Community Awards
Our congratulations to the many nominees for this year’s Community Award program, as well as our winners:
- Business of the Year - Mark Catalano of Fairway Realty
- Community Enrichment - Bill and Bobbi Richards, Co-Directors of Honor Flight
- Community Safety - Jones Middle School Walk-to-School Event
- Super Senior - Sue Knell
- Youth - Fourth graders of Barrington Elementary School.
