Thank you to everyone who volunteered and provided support to make this year’s Pumpkin Patrol a success. Organized by the Police Division, the Pumpkin Patrol is comprised of City employee volunteers who drive City trucks within the community giving candy to children and providing a safe haven to those who are lost, hurt, or otherwise in need of emergency assistance. This year, we were able to place an additional 8 vehicles and 20 volunteers in the neighborhoods, along with a special “Pumpkin Patrol Safety Treat Station” at the UA Main Library to help insure a safe and fun Beggar’s Night celebration for all.

The Pumpkin Patrol Event could not exist without the continued help and generous donations of our volunteers and community partners.

A sincere thank you to the following organizations, businesses and community partners for their continued commitment to this fun and beneficial crime prevention program:

Anthony Thomas Candy Company, Barnes and Noble (Tremont Road), Bella Valentina Photography, Caribou Coffee (Northwest Blvd), Caribou Coffee (Tremont Road), Colin’s Coffee, COSI, CVS (Henderson Road), Dairy Queen (Fifth Ave), Donatos (Northwest Blvd & Corporate), Fire Fighters IAFF Local 1521, Giant Eagle (Kingsdale), Great Harvest Bread Co., Huffman’s Market, Home Depot (Sawmill Road), Jose Madrid Salsa, Krogers (Chambers Road), Kroger (Henderson Road), Noodles & Co., Pet People, Redi-Quick Signs, Rita’s Italian Ice, Robeks, Starbucks (Tremont Road), Tim Horton’s (Reed Road), Original Goodie Shop, Ms. Haine’s Graphic Design Class at Upper Arlington High School, Upper Arlington Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association, Upper Arlington Main Library, and the City of Upper Arlington Staff and Families.
