Join the City of Upper Arlington Parks & Recreation Department on Friday, December 4 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Mallway Park on Arlington Avenue for the Winter Festival, in celebration of the start of the holiday season.

Kurt Ludlow, WBNS 10-TV Anchor, emcees the evening’s events, which include the lighting of the community’s holiday tree with Mayor Don Leach at 7:30 p.m.  Musical entertainment features caroling by Windermere School fourth graders directed by Dulcy Delcamp, the ConBrio Children’s Choir directed by Emily Gil and the Columbus International Children’s Choir, directed by Tatiana Kats.

Additional festival highlights include horse drawn carriage rides, visits with Santa Claus, ice sculpting demonstrations, children’s activities and bonfires for making s’mores.  The Mallway Merchants are offering special discounts on great holiday gift ideas and raffle prizes during this festive evening.

Support your merchants at the Mallway and throughout the community this holiday season.  Everything you need for your holiday shopping can be found right here in Upper Arlington, reducing shopping and travel time, and maintaining a thriving retail and service community.

This event is presented by the Upper Arlington Parks & Recreation Department and the Mallway Merchants.

In the event of inclement weather, call the Parks & Recreation hotline at 583-5345 after 2 p.m. the day of the event. There is no rain date.  For more information visit http://www.uaoh.net, or call 583-5300.
