A struggling shopping center is getting a second chance. Kingsdale Shopping Center in Upper Arlington is now home to a one-of-a-kind grocery store and it should be a big draw.
The Master Plan Community Facilities & Services Ad Hoc Committee of Council invites residents to a Community Conversation scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, from 7-9 p.m. The meeting is to be held at the Municipal Services Center, 3600 Tremont Road.
Celebrate 40 years of making fun happen as the Recreation Division of the Parks & Recreation Department hosts its Fall Fest family event on Sunday, October 17, from 2-6 p.m. at Fancyburg Park (Kioka and Swansea Roads).

Upper Arlington’s annual Summer Celebration hosted by the Parks & Recreation Department was a huge success this year as families from the community gathered to enjoy some summer fun.
It was a proud moment for several members of our community when the City’s STAY UA Program was named as the 2010 “Innovator Honoree” by Business First’s Health Care Heroes Awards Program.
The City of Upper Arlington encourages residents to take mosquito control personally. It’s even more important this year that we all do our part, as the early spring rains have resulted in high mosquito population levels.
Join in the excitement this summer as the City of Upper Arlington holds its 10th Annual Summer Celebration on Thursday, July 15 from 5-9 p.m. in Thompson Park.
