About
News, notes and observations from the 2008 campaign trail: Patrick Preston reports on Ohio’s role in the battle for the White House, and the local candidates working to stay out of the shadow of the presidential race and win over voters. An experienced political reporter, Patrick studied political science at George Washington University in Washington, DC before beginning his career in journalism. His coverage of local, state and national campaigns is aided by his genuine enthusiasm for the political process and the important decisions voters make with each election. If you have a tip to pass along, a question to be answered, or a comment about the campaigns, email Patrick at ppreston@wcmh.com.
