Fun With Boonie…
Just a quick note here… I think Alex Boone’s biggest contribution to Ohio State football is not his 6’8’‘ frame or his blocking prowess. He speaks the truth. Just ask Stephen Colbert… truthiness matters.
I respect I guy who says, “I’ve stunk this year…“ as Boone said yesterday. Now it’s important to note that Boone says his mates did not play as hard as they could’ve so far this season. It begs a one-word response…. why? How was effort lacking, especially from a veteran laden team? Or is that the problem… a bunch of guys working from a comfort zone not achieving all they can because they’re adjusted to the college game?
But I respect a guy who says I wasn’t good enough. Good for him… and here’s hoping more guys call themselves out. In football and in life!
