Is Beanie Playing?
Beanie is walking, but is he playing?
Ohio State left its team hotel Friday afternoon, and running back Beanie Wells joined his teammates, walking normally on his injured right foot. Wells smiled and talked on his cell phone as he boarded the bus, bound for a quick trip to the beach.
Head Coach Jim Tressel called Wells doubtful for the USC game Thursday, but then in a Friday morning radio interview said Wells responded well to treatment.
My take? It’s significant that he’s out with the team and not getting treatment!
