Memorial Tournament Predictions!
Last year I was screaming for someone to believe me that Kenny Perry would win his 3rd Memorial Tournament… and he did!
I’m back with more lead-pipe lock predictions!
This year, my head tells me to pick Tiger Woods, but my gut is feeding me another name… and that name is…...
Sean O’Hair.
What? Yup… he’s actually playing the first two rounds with Perry, so he’ll get a good look. O’Hair’s a former top 5 finisher at Muirfield, has a couple of wins to his credit, and appears perched to win a big time PGA event. Also, the Memorial in recent years has produced some “off the board” winners. Bart Bryant, Carl Petterson, KJ Choi in mind…
I love this guy’s game… he’s tall and a smooth swinger and has a tremendous putting stroke. The greens at Muirfield are notoriously tough, but he’s proven he can handle the speed.
(for the record: I asked Omar for his pick but he wussed out and didn’t produce one—so I’ll pick one for him. Omar is picking… Trevor Immelman).
