Deep Thoughts

The Western Adventure Begins…

Port Columbus is a lovely place anytime of day, especially at 2:15pm.  Andy and I sit here still stewing over the news that Beanie likely will not play Saturday… his trampled toe not yet ready for primetime.  I feel just awful for him—I’ve come to know him quite well over the past two years, and not a nicer kid you will ever meet.

But we’re still going, and so are the Bucks.. their charter jet leaves about the same time as ours… maybe a tick early.

Let me tell you about the joys of air travel… in order to get to Los Angeles tonight, we’re stopping in the only reasonable city en route to the city of Angels:  Charlotte.

Yep… we’ll check in from there, too… we roll into LAX around 11:20 EST tonight, if the flights are on time… which has about a zero percent chance of happening…

two quick things… first of all, I’m carrying Children’s sunblock with me… and yes it got through security somehow… why children’s, cause I’m just that pale.

2ndly… we look like we’re secretly plotting world domination sitting here together with our dueling laptops!  California doesn’t even know what’s about to hit it!!

later from charlotte!

No comments for you.

Cool photos in this blog entry!

As long as you actually wear the sunblock, don’t worry about it being Children’s strength.

Blogging on the way out to LA to cover the game is a neat idea. My first thought upon hearing about this on the NBC4 sportscasts was “I have got to check this out!“.

Thanks for going the extra mile for us Buckeye fans.

Hope it doesn’t interfere with the TV reporting of the game.
