The Mid Ohio Food Bank needs a lot of help. Shelters all over Central Ohio are seeing dozens of new families walk in looking for help. The pantries can only provide that help if the Mid Ohio Food Bank can provide a network of affordable food. The best way to fight this is to raise awareness of the problem and mobilize the people in the community who can help.
From 6:30 until whenever we start to get results back (around 8pm), we have an opportunity to hear about your voting experience and post it live on the air.
I am Ryan Squire, the Managing Editor of NBC 4. My blog is dedicated to building a better newsroom, but more importantly connecting with the people of Central Ohio to hear what is important and relevant to you.
