The Web 2.0 has exploded as social networks and the social behavior of human beings has driven change. When will TV catch up and what will it look like?
Thanks to you, we’ve received all sorts of ideas about how to be a better news and information gathering and disseminating organization. We are working on making some of those ideas a reality. In the meantime, a few of us are looking at blowing it all up and doing it differently. You told us that journalism done socially is the way to go, so, I have a question.
I am Ryan Squire, the Managing Editor of NBC 4. My blog is dedicated to building a better newsroom, but more importantly connecting with the people of Central Ohio to hear what is important and relevant to you. I will share my ideas and experiences to help get conversation going. Television and media have done enough talking TO you; I want to start talking WITH you. I am a huge proponent of social media and believe that it will play an integral role in newsrooms across America.
