big storm brewing
A storm will hit us Friday into Saturday, hard to pinpoint snow amounts this far out but a 4-6 inch total seems most likely Friday night into the weekend. Another snow hits us on Tuesday.
We look at the track of the storm - has to be south of us for best snow chances - we look to see when a sister storm called a coastal low will form - this will cut off moisture to our storm and end snow - we look to temperatures not only on the ground - above freezing Friday afternoon - but also the temperatures in the clouds for type of precipitation and this is a close call with readings right at 32 Friday afternoon. That is why it makes it hard to predict actual type right now.
