Summer warmth and humidity has settled into the region, we are waiting on a cold front to arrive on Wednesday that will eventually return us to delightful and comfortable weather for the end of the week. This is the same front responsible for severe weather in the Plains and Midwest but hoping it will not be quite as strong when it comes through here on Wednesday. Capes are 2000, and LIFTED INDEX is explosive at -8 but there are no triggers in the state today to kick things off. A few pop up storms tomorrow in this atmosphere could be severe with damaging winds and hail.
