How much has Easton raised for charity?

I actually have two questions:

1. What is the parking policy at Easton Town Center for employees who have a State of Ohio issued handicapped parking pass? Where should they park? My co-worker parks in a lot close to work with his handicapped parking pass hanging from his rear view mirror and was told that would be okay by Easton Security. He was punished for not parking in the employee lot and received a parking ticket. When he called about it, he was told he needed to bring in his health records to show he has an actual need for a parking pass. I don’t believe that is right and that Easton is stepping on his federal rights (ADA and such.). I feel NBC4 could get the truth on these policies while he has just gotten the run around.

2. On his new parking ticket, it states a portion of the ticket goes to the Easton Community Foundation which supports Central Ohio youth. What percentage of ticket and meter profits go the foundation? It seems it would be a small percentage due to the fact Easton has been open for 10 years and they have only given $480,000 to the community, as stated on Easton’s website.

What are some inexpensive ways to treat my lawn?

What do I do as inexpensively as possible to plant a lawn right now?  In Nov. we seeded and put straw down.  However between birds and wind we are not getting much grass.  Should we rake up the straw?  Fertilize? Re-seed…?

Can Mercury really cause deaths?

Where are all the dead dentist families? Sheesh. Pa-lease assign someone to do some research and debunk the Mercury Paranoia/Myth.
Sure, it is not good to drink it. However, as one of many thousands of children of dentists who played with it as a toy many many many times, handled it, rubbed it into fingers, spilled it in the house, etc…. it is NOT DEADLY. It is not Plutonium!!! Ask also: Why have not all the dentists died of Hg poisoning??? THEY handled it daily for decades. Would you like to meet my healthy uncle, a retired DDS? These “one drop spills” that evacuate schools prove our educators and government are incompetent. Do some research. Debunk a myth e-a-s-i-e-r to disprove than the global warming hoax!

How are speed limits determined?

What is the legal requirement regarding posting of a new Speed limit? Hamilton Rd in Gahanna drops from 50 mph at the airport to 35 mph as you cross the bridge into Gahanna’s jurisdiction. This 15 mph drop without notice has “New Rome” written all over it.

What if the levy doesn’t pass?

I live in the South-Western City School District. The Ohio School Facilities Commission will give our district just over 200 million dollars (47%) to rebuild and renovate some of our oldest and most costly schools. The catch is that our district has to come up with the other 53% of the money. If the district does not raise the millions of dollars needed soon, the opportunity to receive this 200+ million dollar grant is lost. Why are there strings attached to the OSFC money? Why can’t the money be given to the district regardless of a levy passage? If our next levy does fail, at least for now we could rebuild a portion of our schools that are in the worst shape.
