Is the governor passing a bill to cut funding for charter schools?

What will happen when Governor Strickland passes the bill for funding to be cut to all charter schools statewide? How are the public and other state funded schools going to take care of all the students that will be forced to go to new schools?

We Found:
We spoke to Amanda Wurst, from the Governor’s office, she says the Ohio House of Representatives has made improvements to the governor’s plan that would reward high-performing charter schools while bring greater levels of accountability to charter schools that are not providing a high-quality education to Ohio’s children and not wisely using taxpayer resources.
