What night and time is Beggar’s Night?

Janice Asked:
What night and time is Beggar’s Night for my community? I know Columbus is having it on Friday but I was wondering if the local communities would follow.

Heather Asked:
We have a Columbus services and mailing address, but attend Hillard City Schools, when is our Beggar’s Night?

Shawn Asked:
We reside in a small section of Dublin serviced by the city of Columbus but part of the Dublin City School District. Which night is Beggar’s night?

Lisa Asked:
I have a New Albany mailing address, but live in the Columbus School district. What night should we Trick or Treat?

Nicole Asked:
I am trying to figure out when we are supposed to go trick or treating. Can you help me (the community) out?
Several families are Hilliard schools but Columbus address. Do we go door to door on Thursday night (Hilliard’s night) or Friday night (Columbus’s night)
I am just trying to find some answers and the TV station was my next step.

Viewer Asked:
What time is beggar’s night in Whitehall?

We Found:
**Note: If you currently have a particular address, but live in a certain school district, and if you have children, most likely they will be trick or treating the same night as their school district. However, it is your choice which night to participate. Most likely, you will have Beggar’s at your door both nights.

When should trick-or-treat be if you have a Dublin address, Dublin schools, but pay City of Columbus taxes?  I thought it would be Thursday since Dublin is our address, but others are now saying we should follow Columbus on Friday.

Those users who are still confused, the answer you are looking for is:

However, it is your choice which night to participate. Most likely, you will have Beggar’s at your door both nights.
